William Ge'Rod Baker

William “Lil Will” Baker passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 42 in his home town of Charlotte NC. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Will stayed strong until the end. As a child, Will was a social butterfly—he loved being surrounded by family and friends. He was laid back and chill, always offering a listening ear and shoulder to lean on. He was a natural protector for those he loved the most. Will was a caring Son, brother, father, cousin and friend. He is survived by his Mother and Father, Judy Baker and William Edward Freeman; three siblings, Louweco Sadler, Allen Baker, and LaTabitha Baker Jasper; and his one and only child, Ashanti Baker; as well as a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
