William Savoir Howard

William Sevoir Howard was born July 22, 1952 and passed on November 27, 2015 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House-Southminster. William attended Charlotte– Mecklenburg Schools. He worked for H. L. Bowers, Jenkins Electric. William was a mechanic and worked on all types of cars and trucks. He loved Music at an early age, his mother inspired him and his friends to start a Gospel group, The Vendor Gospel Singers. He wrote and sung many gospel songs. William also inspired his nephews to play. He was a Minister of Music. William attended Greater Mt. Zion where he played and he later joined Central Church of God. He did Prison Ministry for North Carolina and South Carolina, the ministry is called Exhort Truth. His wife, Karen will continue the ministry.. He was preceded in death by; father, Rev. William E. Howard; mother, Rev. Retena Burrows Howard; sister, Betty Jean Burrows Martain; brothers, Franklin Howard, Survene D. Howard, William Howard, Sr. and niece, Quantrilla B. Falls Kelly. William leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Karen of the home; daughters, Tamika White (Kelly), Arnise Michelle Parker; son, Antoine Marquail Porter (Denisha); grandson, Jayden; sister, Altonia Stevenson (Jessie); brothers, Larry J. Howard and Jackie Riley of Charlotte, North Carolina; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
