William E. Jones

William “Will” Elijah Jones   Mr. William “Will” Elijah Jones of 2415 Sandy Porter Rd. Charlotte, NC passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at Mecklenburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Jones, the son of Mr. Louis Jones and Mrs. Georgianna Bennett Jones, was born May 11, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. He attended Laing High School in Mt. Pleasant, SC and worked for a few years in New York City, NY before becoming disabled in the 1940’s until his passing. He is survived by his devoted nephews Mr. Alfred “Al” Jones and Mr. James Jones, Jr., both of Charlotte, NC and Mr. Dwight Jones (Scottie) of Rock Hill, SC; Grand niece Mrs. Beverlee Withers (Melvin), Grandnephews Mr. James Jones III (Frenchie), Mr. Terrence Jones (Alisha), and a host of other relatives and friends.
