Willie Ann Howard

Order of Service for Willie Ann Howard "...to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord..." Thanks be to God for Willie'Ann's sixty-six years of life. Willie'Ann was born on July 26th, 1955, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Rebecca Brown and the late Europe Covington. Willie'Ann attended Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Schools. Willie'Ann was formerly employed at Novant Health. She was a fun-loving person who always had a good word to say about everybody. Her casual and quiet times were spent enjoying herself on a cruise along with several great abilities and hobbies which included surfing the web, Facebook, and submerging herself in a good book. She would welcome you and give you unconditional support and love, you always felt loved after seeing Willie'Ann. She loved to be with family, which led to her being set as the family reunion secretary. In 1993 Willie'Ann rekindled her love with Alphonzo Howard Jr. She step-mothered three beautiful children, Alphonzo Roseboro (son), Tal'chennai Murray and Shanda Nicole Laney (daughters); she also had four great-grandchildren as well as nephews, grandchildren, friends and acquaintances. Ms. Howard was a loving and devoted wife, sister and friend. She was kind and generous beyond measure. Her spiritedness was always entertaining and her wisdom and vigor were a blessing to many.
