Willie Marion Johnson

Willie Marion Johnson was born on May 18, 1940 in York, SC, to Marion Johnson and Maggie Blake Johnson.

Willie worked for Sonoco for over 30 years before retiring. He was always ready to give witty words of wisdom and was always available when you need him, no matter what he may have been doing.

Willie was an avid golfer, receiving several awards. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. He was also a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys with a collection of memorabilia to prove it.

Willie Marion Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Maggie Johnson, and three siblings, John, Manny and David Johnson.

Left to cherish his fond memories are his wife, Jeanette L. Johnson; children Trevor Johnson, Kimberly Hall and Marcus Johnson, all of Charlotte, NC; siblings, Emma Johnson and Betty Johnson of Charlotte, NC, and Edna R. Cousart of Stafford, VA; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ervin, LaQuesha Hall, Drew Murdaugh, Thomas Hall, III, and Kaleb Hall.
