Yvette Patton

Yvette Patton, 57, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on August 4 ^th , 2021. She was born to the late Sarah Ann Patton, on September 11 ^th , 1963 in the Bronx, New York, NY. She was 1 of 9 and always considered to be the life of the party. She was always strong, hardworking, courageous, loving, and never backed out of anything. She defined loyalty and was very passionate about her spiritual walk with God.

Yvette worked at Highland Mills Inc for Over 20 years until they closed/relocated. She then worked for Walmart about 5 years.

After Over 30 years within the workforce, she became ill, and could no longer work as of October 2019.

She enjoyed playing Spades, cooking, spending time with family, fixing things, as well as bargain shopping.

Yvette is survived by her children, Bernard Patton Sr. (Alicia), Leonard Fields Jr., Cathy Fields; Grandchildren: Tylasia Patton, Bernard Patton Jr., Braden Patton, Aiyana Pride-Fields, Charlotte Fields, Leonard Fields III; Sisters: Yvonne Sawyers (Twin), Christine Harvey, Suzette Fetterson; Brothers: Leroy Patton, Maurice Patton, Sharonne Spruill; Aunts: Lena Patton Carter, Louise Horton, and a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her Mother Sarah Ann Patton, Brother, Ransom Patton, and Sister Diane Patton.

The family has entrusted Alexander Funeral Home, Inc. with the arrangements. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, August 12, 2021 12:00 PM at New Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church 2612 Statesville Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206. A reception will follow at Ms. Patton's Residence. Pastor Alexis Stone will officiate the ceremony.
